Master Chess Overview

Master Chess is an online skill-building and brain game that you can play online with friends or alone. This game requires a high skill level to play, but if you are a learner, you can still play it and learn. In this realistic chess game, you have two players. One controls the black pieces and the other controls the white pieces. Each player has 16 pieces, out of which 8 are the pawns, 2 rooks, 2 knights, a king, a queen, and 2 bishops. The two black and white armies are very strong.

Game Modes

This game offers two modes. You can play against a person in first mode. Play it with a friend to see who is better at chess. Try out the second game mode against AI, where you have to beat a computer. The AI is high-skilled and smart, but not like humans. Showcase your chess skills by playing different modes.

How to play Chess Master

Use your mouse or touchpad to play the game. Select the piece to move and then select the block where you want to move it.

Gameplay and Rules

  • There are two armies in Chess: one black army and one white army.
  • Both armies have 16 pieces each.
  • There are 8 pawns, who can only move one step forward except for the very first time when they can move two steps.
  • There are two knights, and they move in an L-shape.Two squares in a straight direction and one square to the right or perpendicular to the straight squares.
  • Two Rooks that can move any number of squares horizontally or vertically.
  • There are two Bishops, and they move any number of squares diagonally.
  • There is a Queen and a King. The Queen moves any number of squares in any direction. It can move diagonally, vertically, and horizontally. King can only move one square in any direction.
  • The board is arranged in a way that all the pawns on the front row, the rooks are on the top left and right corners. Knights are sided by the rooks horizontally, then the bishops, and then the queen, and then the king.
  • When you click on a piece you want to move, the game gives you the options of different squares where you can move it by highlighting the squares. Think strategically and move the pieces wisely to be able to target the opponent’s king.
